We are certified to give therapy dog evaluations and do so at frequent intervals. We also do the AKC Canine Good Citizen and S.T.A.R. Puppy.
We can evaluate teams for Certified Therapy Dogs of America
Certified Therapy Dogs of America (CTDA) is an organization with a high quality and streamlined process for dog-handler teams to become registered therapy dog teams. We highly recommend joining their program. Also, if you were a previous member of another therapy dog organization, there is a special process for quick evaluation with CTDA.

Do you need Therapy Dog Training?
For Certified Therapy Dogs of America you just need to be able to pass the test.
However, if you and your dog might need training to make that possible,
we can do a private lesson, to do a mock test and find deficiencies to target.
Or join one of our Group Classes or Board and Train options.
Cost for Therapy Dog Training is need based. See the ctdogs.org website for test requirements.

Studies indicate that petting a dog can be beneficial in many ways.
Our dogs are looking for places to make a difference. If you know of a place that is in need of Therapy Dog visits, please contact us. This is a voluntary service. Our dogs have experience in nursing homes and library reading programs. They are great with all age groups. Reach out to us if you have questions.
